hub101.earth and Forest Trends form strategic partnership in capacity building and knowledge sharing

18th Dec 2024: hub101.earth and Forest Trends signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on capacity building and knowledge sharing initiatives.

 

Forest Trends is a non-profit organisation based in Washington DC with a mission to drive innovation in environmental finance to sustain resilient ecosystems and communities. For over two decades, Forest Trends has promoted the creation of economic value in forests and natural ecosystems to preserve them – including sustainable forest management and conservation through payment for ecosystem services and enhance livelihoods of local communities living in and around those ecosystems. Through its initiatives such as Ecosystem Marketplace, Communities and Territorial Governance and Water, Forest Trends is a leading provider quality information and market intelligence data and capacity building through training and workshops to stakeholders around the world.

 

hub101.earth is a global open-access hub for capacity building and knowledge sharing in climate, nature and people-centred solutions. It is a not-for-profit organisation based in the United Kingdom, with a mission to deliver simple, accessible, objective and comprehensive learning and training to stakeholders in the Global South, in particular policymakers, local communities, Indigenous Peoples, small holders and youth groups. hub101.earth offers e-Learning and in-person training, developed by experts with decades of on-the-ground and in-depth experience across climate, nature, conservation, finance, development and education.
